Upper Stewart River
White Water Class: II-III (plus Fraser Falls)Overview:
Only very few canoeists undertake this section of the Stewart River. Along the river there are usually many moose. Two Class III rapids await you on this wild ride. A good portage trail takes you around the impressive Fraser Falls.
You can get to Clark Lakes by portaging from McQuesten Lake over beaver dams, along small creeks and across several ponds. Below the Fraser Falls the Stewart River flows obstacle free to Mayo.

McQuesten Lake to Mayo (300 km, 14 days)

The rental price is based on the recommended paddling days and will not change if you finish the trip earlier. We require a refundable damage deposit of CAD 700.00 (Or EURO 500.-) per whitewater canoe for trips on whitewater rivers. Deposit in cash on arrival.
