The "South Mac" is suitable for all those who wish to undertake a long wilderness trip, without paying for an expensive floatplane. There are two options for launch. Most people choose to launch at the "vehicle graveyard," or also called the" Old Volkwagen Van" put in while some very experienced canoeists choose the South MacMillan Bridge #1 launch. On this trip you have a good chance to see various northern animals including; lynx, grizzly bears, moose, wolves and there are also various species of owls.

North Canol Road (KM 160) to Pelly Crossing (485 km, 16 days)
Category 2: 630.00
North Canol Road (KM 185) to Pelly Crossing (510 km, 17 days)
Category 2: 670.00
The rental price is based on the recommended paddling days and will not change if you finish the trip earlier. We require a refundable damage deposit of CAD 700.00 (Or EURO 500.-) per whitewater canoe for trips on whitewater rivers. Deposit in cash on arrival.
