Bonnet Plume River
White Water Class: III (at high water up to IV, two Class V Rapids)Overview:
The Bonnet Plume River flows north through the heart of the Mackenzie Mountains. This spectacular river proves a unique combination of exciting whitewater sections, undisturbed wilderness and magnificent hiking. Because of the remoteness there are large populations of grizzlies, moose, wolves and Dall sheep. The Bonnet Plume flows through the wintering grounds of the largest caribou herd in the world (The Porcupine Caribou Herd).
