Additional information
Mosquitos:They do exist ! Depending on the year, the time of the year and the location they can be from non existing to very annoying. We recommend to buy mosquito repellent locally in Whitehorse and mosquito hats/nets can also be very helpful.
Weather:
The weather in the Yukon can change very quickly - even in the summer.
On a hot summer day the thermometer can go up to 30 degrees celsius and a few days later it can be below 10 degrees. You have to expect night frost starting the second half of August. The days can still be mild in September with beautiful Indian Summer colors.
