Guided tours
When you're traveling in a small group, all participants contribute to the success of the trip. On our wilderness journeys it is sometimes necessary that our guests lend a hand. Together we gather firewood, set up camp and prepare the meals. We only use the finest outdoor gear for our tours.Canoes:
We use the reliable Old Town Discovery 164, 169 and 174 canoes which are made of durable PE. We also use ROYALEX Nova Craft Prospector canoes for our whitewater trips.
The maximum capacity is approximately 540 kg.
Tents:
Our two-man tents protect very well against heavy rain, wind and mosquitoes. They have two entrances.
Sleeping mats:
Thermarest camp mats do a good job at making the uneven ground more comfortable.
Meals:
We cook mostly on an open fire. Occasionally we will eat our meals in restaurants. We offer a varied and hearty menu. Here are some examples:
Breakfast | Coffee, tea, toast, eggs, cereal, pan cakes, jam, honey |
Lunch | Coffee, Tee, sausages, cheese, bread and bannock |
Snack | Apples and granola bars |
Dinner | Steaks, rice dishes, pasta dishes, chicken, fish (Arctic grayling, lake trout pike, salmon) |
Alcoholic beverages are not included.
